Generic Cooking Game Rank and Mastery

Rank is your chef level. Recipe mastery is a per-dish serve counter. They are not the same meter, and mixing them is how people stand in Rewards wondering why a taco still reads as new. Everyone starts at rank 1 in Generic Cooking Game. Serving food, washing plates, and other kitchen work raise that chef rank. Each recipe starts at mastery 0 and climbs only when you serve that dish. Reading the recipe list does nothing to either bar.

Hexbit Studios shipped the Roblox diner on 13 April 2023 (still BETA) as eight-player online co-op with free Solo on place 13118814103. This rank and mastery page is the climb. Rank rewards and hats

Open Rewards on the left. There are about thirty rank rewards. Most ranks pay cash. Hats land on milestones:

• Rank 5: starter/worker hat
• Rank 15: cowboy hat, and you can choose a Ranked Level 15 server when you join
• Rank 20: tomato hat
• Rank 25: donut headphones
• Rank 30: chemist mask

Hats are cosmetic. They do not cook faster, they do not cut bills, and they do not skip the factory drive. Equip them under Menu, Inventory, Chef hats. The closet write-up is cosmetics. Stars from serving spend at the Star Shop / Wish Store for Halloween and Christmas crates. That shop sits on the lot; it is not a rank chest. Other ranks on the thirty-reward track are mostly cash. After 30 the cash ranks still pay. The real prize is a kitchen that finishes the ticket.

The video in the middle of this article is a rank 5 to 7 walkthrough. Use it after the starter/worker hat, when the cash ranks in between feel slow, and before the cowboy hat at 15. It is not a second embed you add by hand, and it is not a Ranked Level 35 guide.

Recipe mastery

Mastery starts at 0 on every dish. It rises when you serve that dish, not when you toggle image recipes, not when you stand in Creative staring at dough, and not when you memorize a wiki list. Star ratings on a ticket are difficulty. A two-star Beef Taco on new recipes still starts at mastery 0 until you plate it for a customer. Creative mode is the drill hall: unlimited stock, no customers, energy that never depletes. Live mastery wants a real ticket in Normal, Solo, or ranked. Pair the recipe checklist with one soup, one grill item, and one dough item until those three feel honest, then add later plates. Rank which tickets are worth a public rush on the recipe tier list.

Do not invent extra ingredients to force a mastery tick. Follow orange-highlighted words. If a tool is missing, locator. If the dish is a later name without printed steps on this wiki, open the in-game Recipes tab instead of guessing.

How to climb without wasting nights

Claim one customer at a time unless you own a multi-claim pass. Easy early tickets still pay rank: chips, steak, coffee, fried egg. Harder dishes pay more if you can finish them. Ranked notes list 12 XP per dish served plus 5 XP per extra difficulty star, and washing plates at the sink also pays. That is why a cleaner on the kitchen roles roster still climbs while cooks handle claimed tickets. Keep the pantry alive with factory restock. Keep walking with energy and bills. Instant Delivery (59 R$) skips the desert drive if the group is already underwater on tickets. Eat Food (49 R$) returns about 500 kJ. Manager is 399 R$ for hours, menu, and apron. Double Claim is newer; this page does not invent a Robux price. Rank those buys on the gamepass tier list.

Trolling is the real time sink. Stolen plates, dumped ingredients, and emptied pots waste XP you already earned on the walk across the lot. Vote kick exists. Read trolling and leave if the room will not vote. Rank 15 exists so you can stop teaching griefers the blender. Customers still scale with player count, so a full eight-player diner is busier than Solo even after the cowboy hat. The roster hub is Players.

There are no live promo codes as of September 2026. Do not wait on a redeem screen to hit rank 15. If a code ever ships, use how to redeem. Treat rank as a door you unlock and mastery as a dish you remember. The starter/worker hat is a souvenir from rank 5. Cowboy at 15 is the door to Ranked Level 15. Tomato, donut headphones, and chemist mask are later closet pieces. None of them plate the ticket for you. Serve the dish in front of you, wash the plate, and let both meters move.
