Generic Cooking Game Shift tools, not gizmos

This hub is a clipboard, not an app. Generic Cooking Game already has a recipe tab, a locator, a changelog, and a Gamepasses menu. The wiki does not need a fake calculator. What it needs is a list you can run in a single shift: which ten tickets a beginner should cook, which stations those tickets use, when to leave for the factory, when energy is actually a problem, what to clean, and which menu belongs on Ranked versus Normal. That live list is the recipe checklist. This page explains how to use it without turning it into homework.

If you have not finished the tutorial, stop and open Getting Started plus controls. A checklist cannot save a chef who still cannot mold dough or bind the locator.

What a session tool is for

A public diner fails in a few boring ways. The cook grabs a C-tier tart while chips would have paid. The pantry hits zero on potatoes and nobody drives. Energy falls and everyone walks like they are in gravy. Plates pile up. Ranked rejects a method that “worked” last night on Normal. The recipe checklist is built to catch those five failures in order. Use it with the recipe list for steps, the recipe tier list for priority, factory restock for the truck, and energy and bills for the kJ and rent loop.

Print it in your head, not on paper:

1. Pick a mode (Tutorial, Solo, Normal, Ranked, Creative).
2. Pick a menu of ten tickets, not the whole book.
3. Name a cook, a runner, a dishwasher, and a host if anyone else is in the server. The roles page has the split.
4. Restock when a key ingredient hits zero, not when the shelves look messy.
5. Drink coffee or sit before you are too slow to plate.

Beginner tickets belong on this hub for a reason

New chefs search for a tool because the recipe book looks like 60-plus dishes. You do not need 60 dishes. You need coffee, chips, fried egg, steak, tomato soup, lemonade, onion rings, grilled cheese, hot dog, and pancake until those ten are clean. That set uses the coffee machine, pan and stove, fryer, blender and pot, and simple dough work. It matches the S-tier and cheap A-tier rows on the recipe ranking. It also matches what customers will actually accept on a quiet public server.

Ranked is a different clipboard. Cooking methods are enforced, so the same ten tickets still work only if you follow the real method. Do not put tarts, butter chicken, or Hawaii pizza on a Ranked menu because a checklist said “variety.” Variety is how you burn the diner.

What this hub will not become

It will not become a JavaScript toy, a damage calculator, or a live stock tracker. Ingredient tracking is already in the game. It will not invent codes. It will not replace the in-game changelog; use the Updates Hub and the changelog for patch themes. It will not tell you to buy Grab Players to “win.” If you spend Robux, read the gamepass ranking and buy Food Basket or 1.5x Speed first.

Creative mode has its own tool use: practice molding, plating, and facing Rordon Temu without bills. That is a rehearsal room, not a money shift. When you go back to Normal or Solo, return to the checklist and cook the ten tickets again.

A five-minute pre-shift ritual

Before you claim the first order, walk the kitchen once. Confirm the coffee machine, a pan, the fryer, and a stack of plates. Open the recipe tab (text or image, your choice). Check potatoes, eggs, steak, dough, tomatoes, and lemons. If any of those six is already at zero, you do not have a beginner menu; you have a restock. Bind the locator. Say the jobs out loud. Then open the recipe checklist and stay on it until the diner is either making money or you have a reason to change the board. That is the whole toolset.
