Generic Cooking Game Patch notes and BETA changes

Generic Cooking Game is released and still labeled BETA. Hexbit Studios shipped it on 13 April 2023. The Roblox page currently flags UPD2.18.3 and tells you to read the in-game changelog. Dated notes now sit on latest update: 22/01/2026 Sausage Roll, 09/02/2026 Beef Taco and manager fixes, then 2.18.5 private-server saves and compounding bills. What UPD2.18.3 is asking you to check

The live title card is a reminder, not a full notes dump. Recent patches around that banner added or highlighted: Rordon Temu as a Creative critic, a revamped tutorial, the Double Claim gamepass (confirm its live Robux price in-game; this wiki does not invent one), performance and network work, and revised truck controls on mobile. Private servers in Normal mode now save a slice of state: bills, commissions, solar upgrades, and the store day plus time. Bills also climb by a compounding 6% per day survived, which is why a diner that felt rich on day three can still fold later. Read energy and bills after that change, not before.

Recipe and kitchen themes

New or recently called-out dishes include Beef Taco, Sausage Roll, Onigiri, Corndog, Chicken Burger, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Cake. Ranked servers enforce cooking methods, so a shortcut that used to slide on Normal can fail a ticket. Food colouring and mayo exist as extra plating tools. The recipe tab is scalable, you can toggle text versus image instructions, and ingredient tracking is in. None of that replaces the recipe list or the recipe tier list when you are choosing what to cook on a public shift.

Map, modes, and quality-of-life themes

A Christmas map and obby went live, then came down; the portal was reused as a main menu. Free Solo servers exist. Creative servers exist, with Rordon Temu as the critic rather than a Normal guest. Star Shop, solar overhaul, manager wall custom, gamepass gifting, and a votekick UI (chat commands still work) all landed in this era. On PC, hold Ctrl in first person to unlock the mouse. A new loading screen and performance passes are part of the same quality-of-life bucket. If you drive restock, also skim factory restock after mobile truck control changes.

How to read this wiki versus the in-game list

Use this hub to answer “what kind of patch was this?” Use the changelog page to answer “what items are in the recent pile?” Use the in-game Changelog button to answer “what is on this exact build?” That three-layer split is how you avoid dating a note we cannot verify. The diner is already live. It is BETA. It still gets diner rules, recipes, and anti-troll tools.

When a patch adds a pass, check the gamepass ranking before you buy. When it adds a dish, check whether it is a public ticket or a Creative flex. When it changes bills or solar, check energy and bills. When it changes who sits at the table, check diner customers and kitchen roles. Community rumors live on community links; treat those as leads, not patch notes.
