Generic Cooking Game One-shift recipe checklist

Ten beginner tickets, a restock trigger, energy breakpoints, and a Ranked versus Normal board.

Recipe Checklist

This is a clipboard for one Generic Cooking Game session. It is markdown, not a JavaScript app. The game already has a recipe tab, ingredient tracking, and a locator. You still need a list that tells you what to cook, when to leave for the factory, when energy is a problem, what to clean, and which board belongs on Ranked versus Normal. Use it after the tutorial. If you have not done that, open Getting Started and controls first. The parent Tools Hub explains why this is not a calculator.

Keep the recipe list open for steps, the recipe tier list open for priority, factory restock open for the truck, and energy and bills open for kJ and rent. This page is the order you run those guides in.

Before the first ticket

  • Mode chosen: Tutorial, Solo, Normal, Ranked, or Creative. Creative is practice; do not treat it as a money shift.
  • Jobs named if anyone else is here: cook, runner, dishwasher, host. See kitchen roles.
  • Locator bound. Coffee machine, a pan, the fryer, and plates exist.
  • Potatoes, eggs, steak, dough, tomatoes, and lemons are not already at zero. If any of those six is zero, restock before you claim a table.
  • Recipe tab set to text or image, your choice. Scalable tab helps on a small screen.

Beginner 10 tickets (stations included)

Stay on this ten until they are clean. They are the S-tier row plus the cheapest A-tier food from the recipe ranking. Full methods are on the recipe list.

  1. Coffee — mug, coffee machine. Also a kJ tool.
  2. Chips — potato, cutter, fryer, salt.
  3. Fried Egg — egg, pan, stove. Crack, cook, plate.
  4. Steak — steak, pan, stove.
  5. Tomato Soup — tomatoes, blender, pot, stove, bowl.
  6. Lemonade — lemons, sugar, pitcher or cup.
  7. Onion Rings — onion, knife, fryer.
  8. Grilled Cheese — bread or dough work, cheese, pan or grill.
  9. Hot Dog — dough bun, sausage, oven or grill, assembly.
  10. Pancake — batter, pan, stove.

Do not add tarts, butter chicken, prawn tempura, spring rolls, cupcakes, or Hawaii pizza to this list because you are bored. Those are C-tier tickets. Event cookies stay off until the crates are in.

Restock trigger (not a vibe)

Leave for the factory when a key ingredient hits 0, not when the shelf looks messy.

Key beginner ingredients: potato, egg, steak, dough, tomato, lemon. If chips are on the board and potatoes hit zero, the runner goes now. Instant Delivery (59 R$) can skip the drive; a human runner can do the same job. Read factory restock for commissions versus instant and for unloading on the garage conveyor. Mobile truck controls were revised; if the van feels wrong, that is a patch, not a broken checklist.

Do not start a burger line when dough is already gone. Do not start lemonade when lemons are gone. The host should look at the pantry before claiming a customer order.

Energy breakpoints

Energy is kJ. Walking speed follows the bar.

  • High: cook and run as normal.
  • Mid: you are slower; finish the current ticket, then coffee or couch.
  • Low / crawling: you are a hazard. Sit in the office couch or drink coffee before you plate. Eat Food (49 R$) restores 500 kJ from plated food if you own it.
  • Empty: you are not a chef, you are furniture. Recover before you touch the fryer.

Bills still climb (compounding 6% per day survived in recent notes). A slow chef burns food and misses tables, which is how the bank dies. Details sit on energy and bills. Food Basket and 1.5x Speed help the same loop; rank them on the gamepass tier list.

What to clean

  • Plates and bowls at the sink so the cook can plate.
  • Floors in kitchen and dining room so the diner is still a diner.
  • Fryer and pans you actually own; do not leave a full basket to burn.
  • Solar panels when you have a gap (towel wipe is a money chore, not a joke).
  • The pass window so finished food is not sitting in a traffic jam.

Cleaning is a dishwasher job on a full lobby and a between-ticket job on Solo.

Ranked versus Normal menu picks

Normal / Solo / public new lobby: the beginner 10 above. Host calls coffee and chips first. Volume scales with player count, so a full server still wants simple tickets.

Ranked: the same S-tier tickets, but follow the official method. Ranked enforces cooking methods. A skipped salt or a wrong cook state fails the plate. Do not put C-tier tarts on a Ranked menu to look fancy. See ranked servers.

Creative: ignore this money checklist. Practice molding and plating, and face Rordon Temu if you want a critic. Then come back to Normal and run the ten tickets again.

Mid-shift recovery if shelves hit zero

Stop claiming new tables. Host repeats only dishes you can still cook from remaining stock (coffee if the machine works, steak if steak remains, lemonade only if lemons remain). Runner orders the missing key crates and drives. Cooks plate whatever is already in pans instead of starting a tart. Dishwasher clears the sink so the first restocked ticket has a plate. When potatoes, eggs, and dough are back, return to the beginner 10. Do not “catch up” with Hawaii pizza. That recovery is the difference between a diner that survives compounding bills and a diner that lectures in chat while the bank hits zero. After the shift, skim the changelog only if a patch moved a method; otherwise run this same list tomorrow.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers chefs actually search for.

Is this checklist an in-game item I can equip?

No. It is a wiki list for one session. Use the in-game recipe tab for steps and this page for priority.

Why only ten beginner tickets?

Because 60-plus recipes is how new chefs freeze. These ten match S-tier and cheap A-tier food on the recipe tier list.

When do I restock if the shelves look low but not empty?

Wait until a key ingredient hits zero, or leave slightly earlier if the truck drive is long. Do not restock on vibes. See factory restock.

What is the energy number that should stop me?

When you are crawling, stop. Coffee, couch, or Eat Food's 500 kJ beat one more burned steak. Read energy and bills.

Can I run this list on Ranked?

Yes, with official methods. Ranked enforces cooking steps. Keep tarts off the board.

Where do I go after the ten tickets are easy?

Add A-tier burgers and pizza if dough and steak are in, still using the recipe list. Return here whenever a shift starts to spiral.
